Wildlife Emergency - 2019 Phillip Island Shearwater Patrol
During the migration of young Short Tailed Shearwaters from Phillip Island to the Arctic tundra, many young ones go off course, landing on the roads as they shine like water at night. Shearwater patrol is conducted to assist those who end up in danger. Wild Days volunteered over several years assisting with the road patrols.
