Thanks for your support

We cannot do it alone

Thanks to Our Supporters - Our Heroes at Wild Days

At Wild Days Wildlife Shelter we are overwhelmed by the generosity of the community to the plight of our wildlife. Below are some examples of the generosity in time, effort and money that some people have given in support of the work done at the shelter.

We would not be able to continue without this support.
We thank every supporter, large or small, time, money or goods.

Wild Days would like to acknowledge and thank all of the volunteers:-
regular volunteer teams, Junior volunteer teams, casual volunteers, fundraisers and educators, working bee and event volunteers, pouch sewers, supplies gatherers, vets and vet staff, rescuers and transporters, and also the members of the community who took the time to stop and take action when encountering an animal in distress.

We would like to recognise all contributions below and all others who may not be listed.

The Wild Days family

Wild Days core family base consists of: Kay Taranto, voluntary registered wildlife carer supported by her Mum Margaret, daughters Jacqueline and Hayley, and their partners Ross and Manuel.

Many years of support from the whole family in their time, not only volunteering at the shelter but also fundraising, coordinating events, website development, working bees, baby animal sitting, sewing, transporting, collecting browse, raising awareness though their workplaces, students, colleagues and friends, sourcing supplies and being there,   The family also provide emotional support to coninue the shelter despite the emotional, physical and financial impacts of a busy shelter.

Veterinary support

Wild Days works collaboratively with local vet clinics and would like to acknowledge the ongoing support of the following vets who provide assistance to Wild Days' wildlife:
