Birds and their Flowers!
The flowers of spring are here! Thanks to the Wilson Park Berwick Branch of the Australian Plants Society, Wild Days Wildlife Shelter 'residents' had a chance to enjoy a treat over the weekend.
Each year, at the end of the day after the annual Australian Native Plant Sale, the cut native flowers used for displays during the sale are donated to Wild Days.
As you can see, Wild Days birds and animals enjoyed the variety on offer.
The only animals who were not interested in enjoying this treat were the two echidnas currently in care - they do not know what they missed! But then, they do enjoy an ant or two...
The more native plants in every garden encourages Australia's beautiful native birds to visit, and what a pleasure they are.
