Turtle Tales

Thanks for putting me back home! This was one eager turtle. As soon as he smelt his home, he was swimming in the air.
Long necked turtles go wandering particularly after heavy rain. They just need to be directed back to the closest waterway if they are not injured. 
These guys live in rivers, dams, and swamps, sometimes getting flushed out when things get flooded. 
Keep an eye out after rains, they do not do well being run over. Thankfully this guy missed being squashed and is safely back home.
